Jackknife Sofa Framework

Build your own Jackknife. The RB Components Jackknife Sofa Framework is the precision-built, lightweight foundation of our sofa sleeper – framework only, so you supply the cushions, foam and upholstery to match your build, and save on shipping. Once finished, it converts between seating and sleeping in one motion, just like our complete sleepers.

It's built for strength without excess weight and integrates cleanly into van, RV and trailer layouts. Order it with or without the base.

Dimensions (68" framework)
- Overall: 68" W x 30" D x 34" H
- Seating platform (with customer-supplied cushions): 66" W x 20" D x 19" H
- Sleeping platform (with customer-supplied cushions): 66" W x 42" D x 19" H

Note: Seating surfaces, foam and upholstery are not included.

Are cushions included?
No – this is the DIY framework. For a ready-to-use sofa with cushions, see the Jackknife Sofa Sleeper w/Base or w/o Base.

Which sizes ship now?
The 68" frame is in stock and ready to ship. 34", 45", 58" and 76" sizes are built to order and ship in approximately 2–3 weeks.

Can I add storage panels?
Yes – optional front panels and side panels are available.
